Located in Zhanjiang City, Guangdong province, Leizhou Forest Bureau, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China National State Forest Farm Development Co., has established China’s largest eucalypt plantation base, also known as the “Kingdom of Eucalypt”. The Bureau has a total managing area of 780 thousand mu and a standing stock volume of about 2.052 million cubic meters. The main products involve timber, eucalypt wood chips, MDF board, rotary-cutting veneer and superior eucalypt seedlings. Currently, an operational pattern, consisting of research, production, processing, transportation and sale has taken shape.
